Rapacan 1 mg tablet is an immunosuppressive medicine used to prevent rejection of a kidney transplant. This medicine is given with other medicines that work by weakening the immune system of a body.

Sirolimus is the main active drug in this medicine which belongs to a class of drugs called immunosuppressants. It is a kind of inhibitor that inhibits the action of mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin). It suppresses the immune response of the body after the transplant of the organ and helps to accept it.
